In connection with the actual situation regarding the spread of the COVID-19 disease and the measures taken by the Slovak government, the International Defense Exhibition IDEB originally to be held on May 13-15, 2020 is postponed to a new date.
Incheba is fully aware of the seriousness of the situation and takes notice of all the declarations, instructions and bans of the competent state authorities which are intended for the protection of public health. In the meantime it is our commitment and duty to act in the utmost responsible way in order to protect the health of our exhibitors, visitors and employees.
Regarding the strengthened preventive and restrictive measures aimed to the public health protection and issued by competent Slovak government authorities on 12 March 2020 and tightened on 23 March 2020, it is not possible to organize the fair IDEB in the original dates, as it is forbidden to organize any large events with mass participation or attendance until further notice.
The international defense exhibition IDEB which is organized every other year in Incheba Expo Bratislava is a platform that combines security and defense products with innovations in these areas including cyber security issues and new capabilities in the fields of armed and security forces. The fair represents a unique opportunity not only for the presentation, but also for the establishment and strengthening business contacts at both national and international level, and thanks to the intensive cooperation of V4 countries also on important investment projects in Central Europe.
Due to the above mentioned restrictions of the responsible state institutions, and in full respect of its binding character we have decided to postpone the International Defense Exhibition IDEB to a new date when the health and safety situation will allow this and we are ready to act closely with the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic in finding the right alternative for a new date, as its presence is essential for the organization as well as for the exhibitors of the IDEB fair. We will inform about the new date as soon as the situation will allow it.
